Breaking “Get a Life” News

We checked weather.com and to our dismay they are calling for more rain and thunderstorms tomorrow night. Boo! Well, at least there is going to be something good to watch on tv. Grab some gal pals (or a very understanding boyfriend) and flip to channel 41. For those of you in the know that’s Lifetime, which just might be our all-time favorite channel. Yes, we love Lifetime because everything it touches turns to B-Rate gold. Who hasn’t spent an entire Sunday hung-over watching movies with titles like “Mother, May I Sleep with Danger?” starring actresses like Tori Spelling and Tracy Gold?

Tomorrow at 8pm the channel once again seeks to proves itself with it’s 3 hour movie event “Coco Chanel” starring Shirley MacLaine. Lifetime’s website describes the movie as a “rags-to-riches tale charting the rise of one of the most influential fashion icons of the 20th century.” Sounds right up our alley!

We plan on asking the girls to each bring over an app (we’ll provide the wine) and curling up for a super cheap Girls Night In. Oh, and we almost forgot to mention that after the movie you can catch Michael Phelps hosting Saturday Night Live! We know staying in watching television isn’t quite “getting a life,” but we really hate to go out when it’s raining.
